Reusable Assets Respect Time

A lot of what you create can be reused: a component, layout, paragraph, process, or half-finished idea. It does not need to be part of some perfect system. Just do not throw away work that could help you later and then start from zero as though you have never solved that problem before.

Even the things you left halfway can be useful. Use the good part. Fix it, finish it, or take whatever still works. Help yourself a little. Reusing your work is not laziness. Repeating the same work for no reason is just wasting time. I assure you: you do not need to create the same button component with the same 44px height and 24px padding twenty times. It is okay to reuse it.

Time is the most important resource, ever-fleeting and constantly unattainable beyond the part currently given to you. It is the only resource that, theoretically, you cannot have an infinite amount of.

So, before making something again, check whether you have already made part of it. Use the halfway thing. Use the complete thing. Do not disrespect your time by pretending that work never existed.
